Just wanted to check that sodium bicarbonate, tartaric acid, malic acid and E472e are ok?

    Heya, I think they're fine!
E-numbers and other ingredients like that can be really confusing sometimes, maybe these links will help

E472e is mostly vegetable derived, but can be produced from animal fat.

The only way to tell is to email the manufacturer.

You'd hope that products using animal derived E472 don't label themselves vegetarian, but most vegetarians I've met don't care about the presense of dead animal they can't see or taste.

Also, fat could be animal and vegetarian.

It's my understanding that E472e is derived from dead animal when from animal source, but please correct me if wrong.

They could be derived from milk fat, but what industry does, I don't know.
