    Default Festival health

So I am going to Bloodstock next week. I wanted some tips on how to not get ill. I have IBS, and a lot of folk have suggested I take ginger root beer and ginger tablets with me to help prevent the related sickness and stomach cramps and having to run to the toilet (I get nausea and sickness a lot) . Last year the festival atmosphere really accelerated my IBS, I was sick, felt horrible and couldn't touch a drop of alcohol for fear of making things worse. I didn't take any food with me and lived off chips and salsa!
Is there any food I should take with me to help keep my blood sugar levels up and prevent nausea?
    Any help appreciated! xx
The greatest mistake is to do nothing because you can only do a little.

aaah bloodstock, i remember when it was just the indoor fest in derby.

yes ginger is good! i'd suggest things like oatcakes, rice cakes, peanut butter, boring stuff like that just for the weekend. you can then supplement with chips and salsa if you need a treat mid-band. probably things in the mid glycemic range would be better to avoid blood sugar spikes and drops so avoid too much fruit.

    have a great time!

hope you are ok and enjoy yourself.

you can always go for the "i'm metal but i treat my body like a temple" approach - which IS cool!
