    Arrow Vegans host Triple J

    Early morning wake-up call

    www.smh.com.au January 29, 2005

Once banned from Triple J, these acid-tongued punk rockers are now its breakfast hosts, writes Brigid Delaney.

It's 42 degrees outside and, in Newtown, the air is as thick as soup. Lindsay McDougall, 26, and Jason Whalley, 32, sit at the back of the un-air-conditioned cafe under a faded map of the world, a ceiling fan barely stirring the air. They are vegan dudes. They live in Newtown. They drink at the Courthouse Hotel. A skateboard is a utilitarian device.

you shouldn't really use the term 'punk rockers' in relation to them either, they are comedians.

I think membership in Frenzal Rhomb qualifies anyone as a punk rocker...lol. I only hope they don't ever go the way of Merrick and Rosso...

I love Frenzal Rhomb, I wish one day they would play the UK, getting their music over here is like trying to buy rocking horse shit.
