Interesting. I heard that we are living in a cancer epidemic because of all the plastic/oil we use.
I'm not too sure though, it might just be we are living longer so now we have less deaths from other causes, we have more cancer?
I'm sure there will soon come some other study with another conclusion (as usual), but one of the findings that are presented now is that "The disease rate has risen massively since the Industrial Revolution, in particular childhood cancer — proving that the rise is not simply due to people living longer". I think I'll wait for a second opinion. It makes sense to me that cancer is something inherently natural since other species, even non domesticated ones get variations of it. Perhaps something about the way humans alter the environment expedites it but I think it's a little premature to be proclaiming it purely man made.
