    Default Britains best dish

Hi all. The lady who runs our local farm shop handed me a leaflet for entering Britains best dish. This is only due to me commenting on being vegan and always thinking outside the box when it comes to creating recipes but she reckons its worth a shot. What do you think and is there anyone who has tried a cooking comp? My heart tells me to go for it but my head tells me no chance as a vegan dish just won't tick all the box's in our anti-vegan world.

Yes, you should definitely go for it! I was watching the final of that programme- The Great British Bake-off- and the guy who won it said he almost didn't enter as he thought he wouldn't have a chance. You never know.......

I think it would be a really positive thing to do for yourself and it would show others just how tasty vegan food is...yum!!!

I believe that Ms Cupcake (who sells gorgeous vegan cupcakes at Greenwich and Brick Lane markets) won a televised round of Britain's Best Dish. I'm not sure how far she got in the comp but at least it shows they're not going to be biased purely because something is vegan...
