I was reading recently where a vegan has said of their veganism that "it plays a small role in my life" and it set me wondering how big, or little, a role veganism plays in the lives of other VF members.
For myself, I entered veganism thinking that it was all about giving moral consideration to the lives of non-human animals. Gradually the realisation came that to be consistent, I also needed to include human animals in my consideration. I'm now at the stage where it seems that my whole ethical stance ie 'how should I live my life?', and my 'veganism' are the same thing.
What do others think? If veganism is only a part of your ethical life, where is the boundary for you, where your veganism ends?
