Default Burger ban at Forest Green Football Club

    Link

    Oooooh!

It's a start!! Hurrah for vegan club owners!

Having said that, I don't follow football and know nothing about it, really. My Dad sent me the link to this story, with the message "Well done that man!"

For those of us who also know nothing about footy, here's a link

Shame it's only cows who deserve protection
Free-range poultry and fish from sustainable stocks will continue to be served.
Still, from a health point of view it's a good start

    Edit to add:
    link on actual site
    http://www.forestgreenroversfc.com/n...em.asp?id=1234

Notably, they mention 'vegetarian' options, but nothing about vegan options. Is it a dirty word?

Sorry - I probably should have highlighted it better - I popped the link in to my post. Click on the word 'Oooooh!'

Like you say, it's a start. Hopefully it won't take long before more changes are made, especially nationwide.

ETA - have changed the link link to say link!

I think veganism is just a step too far for some folk into weirdness whereas nowadays vegetarianism is more 'acceptable'. I went vegetarian many years ago when I had a young family and my inlaws thought it was 'some weird religeous thing'.
