Ellen DeGeneres Show Helps Family Go Vegan

Last week Ellen DeGeneres had a vegan segment on her show where she featured author Kathy Freston and celeb chef Tal Ronnen.

On the show, Ellen surprised one lucky family by sending them Freston to help make the transition into cooking vegan meals. Betty, Jeff, and their three young children admitted to eating meat on a daily basis, but said they wanted to start cooking vegan for health reasons. Sounds like a great reason to us!

Freston helps the family by answering questions about vegan food, going through their fridge and explaining why animal products are so unhealthy, and she even invites Ronnen over to the home to show the family how to cook using faux meat.

The segment is fabulous and shows viewers just how easy the transition into a vegan diet can be, watch it below here!
I will not eat anything that walks, swims, flies, runs, skips, hops or crawls.
