Default Spaghetti Hoops no longer fortified

Okay, I know they are rubbish, but they really hit the spot sometimes. I noticed about 2 or 3 weeks ago that they no longer contain the B vitamins. The spaghetti does (and I think all of the kids shaped varieties too), but not the Hoops. What gives?

When we moved here and I discovered that the UK had vegan Spaghetti-O's (more or less), I think I ate my body weight in them.

Yeah, I eat the vegan ones out of Scotmid.

The snap pots of hoops still seem to be fortified, if that's any use to you?

Scotmid is a supermarket in Scotland. They have a lot of vegan food, all clearly labeled, and their toiletries and household cleaning products are cruelty-free. I love them.

Ooh...cool. Something to explore when we are in Scotland!

Twinkle, thanks for that. I may check that out.

I prefer the spaghetti letters, that way you can spell rude words with them but I dont think they are fortified either

*gigglesnort* We have those occasionally with my nanny munchkins. I think they are fortified, but we just get them to spell. Found some pots yesterday, but no B12 either. I can get some Hoop pasta to make them, but it's wicked expensive. Ah well, still not too scary considering all the things I could be eating.

Scotmid is just co-op. For some reason they call it scotmid in Edinburgh and Co-op everywhere else!

It's weird, isn't it? We have Co-operatives here in Edinburgh too, as well as Scotmid, but it's clear from the products that it's the same shop. Maybe they're phasing out the name.
