Above is a posting for a summer sublease in DC.. Although i'm pretty sure it's a joke...16 cats in ONE bedroom in an apartment!?

Some indication of pot-smoking here. Only in the giggling phase of an all night session would a person have been likely to find making the link and writing that ad funny. lol

yeah it appears it has been removed! It was just a "sublease my 2 bdrm apt" .. where 1 bedroom contained 16 cats... like cupid stunt said- it APPEARED to be in a joking manner. So hopefully thats all it was!

$900 / 1br – June – August Sublet + Cats (Dupont)
For sublet, June 3rd – August 25th. 1 BR in a 2BR apartment in Dupont circle. Furnished, all utilities included.
I will be away for the summer in Denmark attending the summer-long Danish Cat Convention. You will share the apartment with 16 well mannered cats and 2 Roombas. The cats will occupy the other bedroom, and the roombas will be on patrol to help keep the hair situation under control. I will ask that you refill the cats’ automated food dispensers once a week, and clean the Roomba filters every three days or so. Below is a brief description of the housecatmates:
Polly – shy, quiet, tabby
Bitnum – playful, clawy
Lightning – slow, old
Lighting II – slow, young
Bebop – paranoid, jumpy
Cappy – sneaky, grouchy
Apina – knowledgeable, soft
Grobor – Incessant, loquacious
Kyle – stylish
Leesha – aged, engaged
Somtorious – idle
Gleebok – green-tinted
Horatio – friendly, mild-mannered
Bananana – a little off
Hoppy – jumpy
Duran – pensive
Roombas:
Gregor – Robotic, kitcheny
Sandra – Robotic, hallway-y

That sounds like a spoof to me. I notice one of the cats is called Sandra.......................well................. .I am Catwoman after all!

Checked again it's one of the Roombas that's called Sandra..............I so wanted it to be a cat's name, now I'm all disappointed.

This is getting funnier by the minute. I didn't know a roombas was a robotic vacuum cleaner................you learn something new every day.
(Maybe it's more apt that the cleaner is called Sandra.............I do a lot of that living with 10 cats! lol)

lol It does, doesn't it? Only difference is, my ten have not only the run of the house but a very large back garden aswell. It's us humans who are all confined to one room!
Plus, they get more fresh air and sunshine than I do..............I'm too busy indoors cleaning up after them. lol

I love the idea though of automated vacuum cleaners............I could do with some of those. I wonder are they any good?
