    Default Tesco Real Food Challenge

Calling Britain's real cooks! Tell us the food that matches your mood, share your recipes and enter our fantastic competition. All recipes will appear on this site for other real food cooks to try out and enjoy. You could win one of dozens of exciting prizes, and even go on to appear in a brilliant new TV.
    More here

It's always good to get vegan food represented in these things so would be nice if some of us did some entries I think.

As a side note, I'm getting pretty sick of hearing about this "real" food. Real food as opposed to what? Food made from playdough?

The term real food annoys me just as much as the "health food section". lol Or the Good for You range...what exactly is the other range then?! Deadly?!

I may consider it. Sadly I'm more of a baker than a cook!

Huh, item 14 of the terms and conditions is "Applicants must not have been convicted of any serious crime". I guess it's in case of bad publicity? "fairy cake winner served 12 years for poison murder" or some such.

witchymagic - where does it say the recipes can't be for baked goods? I do have a recipe for cake with a pretty good story behind it (made up the recipe for a child who was allergic to lots of things, but her brother liked it so much he tried to climb up the fridge for a second piece! ), not sure I would fancy actually presenting it though, if it got that far.

I just assumed it meant cooking lol...and yes, I'd hate presenting it!

Oooh that sounds interesting. I love experimenting with new recipes... but I don't think I could present one
