Just found this thread again after doing a search for Portsmouth. I have a Hampshire Vegetarians and Vegans Facebook page I'm trying to build up. Would be great to start doing get togethers and events at some point https://www.facebook.com/HampshireVegetariansandVegans

I started it off as a blog to do reviews, etc and hoping to get other Vegan bloggers involved and writing. I thought it was a good way get everyone together, writing their own posts, etc but when I first asked for additional writers (before the Facebook page grew more members) there weren't any takers. So it is mainly just the Facebook page now. It's still in its infancy though, if anyone has any ideas or wishes for where to take the group, I'm all ears

The blog also has options to have pages, like a website would, so I also thought it would be a great way to keep current news and posts, etc at the top and still have the pages. As I said though, its in its infancy, I would love to create a website later down the line

When I first started it, I was only a Vegetarian and didn't know any other Veggies, which is why I wanted to do it. When I went Vegan, I felt like I was an alien round here (and it actually caused a rift with my husbands family) so it was literally created to try and meet more like minded individuals. I'd love to get more numbers up and start Hampshire V&V properly, have meet ups and events, etc
