The fudge icing makes them...they are pretty bland really without icing! They need more chocolate other than cocoa powder I think!! But maybe I just like things chocolaty

^ check out happycow.com. There are tons of places in Auckland. Golden Age is my favorite. There was a natural food shop that I really liked a lot. I wish we had stuff like that in Nelson. Not a single even vegetarian restaurant.

Yesterdays Dinner (Please forgive the quality of the photo my camera went a bit weird) - Bread, Soya Cheese, Cranberry Stuffing Balls, Chorizo Sausages, Kafka Bites, Houmous, Houmouslaw (Coleslaw made with houmous), salad and pickles. This was followed by 2 bars of chocolate -
xwitchymagicx, those buns look really good, you can see how moist and delicious they are! Was it easy to make them g-f?
Firestorm, that 'egg and cheese' sandwich looks really nice! It reminds me of the cheese, onion and egg-mayonaise rolls I used to buy in my vegetarian days.
Pickles? Where? That looks really good. Are the Jimmy Con Carne crisps any good?
The picked onions and gherkin are next to the salad. the Jimmy Con Carne crisps are O.K, they're better than the Frank Roast Dinner ones (they're the only 2 that are vegan), but I was just using them up.
I bought a 35 gram bag, liked them so bought a 6 pack, but by the time I got to the last pack I was getting a bit bored with them.
I'll be going back to my old staple - 1 pack of Salt and Vinegar Crisps, 1 Small pack peanuts, mixed and crunched up together - heaven!

Dinner last night in work - pasta, potato, Lincolnshire style mini sausage and a Biona lucky star. After finishing this I also had a pack of peanuts poured into a pack of salt and vinegar crisps and
a grown up milk shake (soya milk and Kahlua mocha) which aren't pictured:

Steamed broccoli, nut roast, cranberry jelly, mustard, horseradish, mint sauce, peas, sweet & sour red cabbage, roasted red onion, roast carrots, roast potatoes, roast sweet potatoes, roast jerusalem artichoke, roast garlic. I did add gravy as well but it made the picture look a bit unpleasant.
Unfortunately, just after serving I realised that it wasn't Sunday but was in fact Friday, Friday, gotta get down on Friday so it was disposed of rather quickly.
I used a slice of Tofutti Cheddar mixed into some warm soya milk with some cornflour to thicken it.
It was a bit runny today cos I used too much milk, but its usually better than this.
It does taste great cold as well, I just grabbed the leftovers out the fridge and finished them with a cup of hot chocolate

Actually, it was not too bad, I find a gluten free recipe online that contained eggs but I just removed the eggs and they were great! I just had to turn our oven down as it gets too hot...as the second time I substituted the egg and cooked on the temperature they suggested and they weren't as good as they got to dry as I wanted to see if it made any difference...so I suppose you have to know your oven to get them the right texture!
