Some bread I made with leftover baked beans

Yeah, it's not obvious though, they got broken down during the breadmaking.

What's baked bean bread like? I like beans and I like bread but am slightly terrified at the prospect of the two cooked together in an unholy union.
Todays empires, tomorrows ashes...
It's lovely, the bean flavour isn't noticable itself but the overall flavour is very nice and it has a nice light orange hue to the crumb.

Looking good FS!
I really like Vegan Brunch, I have made bagels and English muffins from it that turned out really well
Houmous atá ann!
Thanks
Its one of my favourite cookbooks, I used it the first time I made seitan (Italian Feast Sausages) and have loved it since (seitan and the book), I am making a few more things from it this week as well (Banana Rabanada, Scrambled Tofu, Red Flannel Hash & maybe some more Italian Feast Sausages)
Muffin shaped bread rolls made with a leftover jacket potato and some rosemary.

Spaghetti with meatballs

Todays empires, tomorrows ashes...
The meatballs were made up from a generic pack of burger mix I got in the local health food shop. The sauce is just a basic Italian tomato sauce - passata, mushrooms, peppers, olive oil, garlic, basil, parsley, salt and sugar. Those ingredients were simmered for an hour, then added to the pan that I fried the meatballs in, and served over brown spaghetti.
A really basic and simple recipe, but it was absolutely lovely.
Also, that photo makes the meatballs look massive, but it's just a really small plate!

Looking good Firestorm and Barry! Is that 'pulled pork' jackfruit?
Houmous atá ann!
It is indeed Blueberries. My first time cooking with it. It was really nice.

The pizza looks great!

Bit of a gross picture, but tasted great! BBQ pulled 'pork' with red cabbage coleslaw, stuffed into a roll with sweet potato fries on the side.
Raw key lime pie from Infinity Foods.

Banana and peanut butter flapjacks. Awesome, even if I do say so myself.

What kind of yeast do you use in your breads, Risker? Last time I tried buying dry yeast every brand contained a dubious additive. Fresh yeast from a local bakery?
Just regular fast action yeast, allinson or hovis or whatever. What was the dubious additive?
"I don't want to live on this planet any more" - Professor Hubert J. Farnsworth
It was a letter-number code; I don't remember which, but I looked it up in "The Chemical Maze" and it's sometimes an animal product. I'll go for the fresh yeast sold at a local vegan bakery. I've heard it's better to use fresh yeast, but I've found dry to be more convenient.
Lucky you having a local vegan bakery!

It is lucky, but their range isn't great, and your home-made breads look so much better!
You've inspired me to make bread again, so thank you!

Oh my these meals look so yummy!!! I made vegan lasagne last night using the Veganomicon recipe and it was delicious! Excuse the photo-iPhone camera.

This is a lemon cake, I did add icing, but didn't have my camera handy to take photos of the finished product, and now there's only a thin slice left

Hotpot, your noodle soup looks lovely, do you have a recipe please?
And Risker, love the breads, they look original and rather nice.
Firestorm, you inspire and amaze me with your cakes, and cooking in general. I'm going to look at some of the books you mentioned.
I have been using the Animal Aid cakes and pudding book a lot, hubby loves the banana crumble cake from it. And I've pre-ordered Isa Does It.
Food I've eaten lately. 'Tuna' and avocado salad Pesto potatoes Lentil and sweet potato pie
Steamed broccoli
Fishless cake & potato waffle on top of mushy peas, topped with fresh chives.
Home made tartare sauce (mayo, gherkin, capers, lemon juice, seasoning) sprinkled with smoked paprika.
Mixed red & green leaves, tulsi, avocado, chopped pistachios, drizzled with chilli infused cold-pressed rapeseed oil.

That looks like something you'd get in restaurant! Did you make the fishless cake and potato waffle?
