and finally, banoffee cupcakes
Even the smallest person can change the course of the future
Oh goodness me *drool*. Wow! Are you willing to share any recipes? Are those chocolate chips on top of the banoffee cupcakes, or toffee pieces? If the latter, where did you buy them or how did you make them? They look sooooo good!
Live and let live
http://www.newvegantable.com/2009/10/vegan-toffee/ was where I got the toffee from, then I just broke it into little chips to put on top. and I just used a mashed banana in a normal cupcake recipe and some leftover banana nesquik powder in the icing (these were made in my very early days!) which I'm not 100% sure is vegan so I never used it after that.
Even the smallest person can change the course of the future
A vegan toffee recipe! Awesome! And it doesn't look too difficult either so I will definitely try that! Is the end result chewy or brittle?
Thanks!

A few meals from the last week:
Monday: Khobez, whole wheat tortilla, primal strip, houmous & salad
Tuesday: veggie pot pie stew (appetite for reduction), brown rice, roast parsnips & cold baked beans
Wednesday: Baked potato, Cholent (veganomicon), sprouts & carrots
Thursday: Chikin Cacciatore, brown rice with onions & peppers
Looking good FaerieSuzy, Risker and Firestorm
Firestorm- what exactly is Khobez?
They are flat breads, Hollyland sell theirs in Sainsburys, kind of like pitta breads but bigger!

Ma po tofu with sesame noodles.
Todays empires, tomorrows ashes...
The tofu looks yummy, whats the sauce made of? if you don't mind me asking
Not at all! I used this recipe - http://dinersjournal.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/11/01/the-temporary-vegetarian-vegan-ma-po-tofu/
I didn't follow it exactly but it was really lovely. Next time I'm gonna make it hotter, I wimped out and only used one tablespoon of hot bean paste!
Edit: I also used firm tofu instead of silken cause I don't really like silken in savoury dishes.
Todays empires, tomorrows ashes...

I can see why you took it easy with the hot bean paste!
Thanks for the link Barry, I will definitely try this.
Massive backlog of photos, slowly starting to upload them all. Here are some.
Stuffed marrow with quinoa , kale, mushrooms, edamame, butternut sauce and a tomato, garlic and basil sauce. Lousy photo but it tasted good! (My recipe)
Lunch buffet at 222 Veggie Vegan. All of it delicious.
Cheesecake from 222 Veggie Vegan
Chocolate fudge cake from 222 Veggie Vegan
Bruschetta (tomato and basil; mushroom and garlic) (my recipes)
Lasagne verdi. Spinach and mushroom lasagne (my recipe) with tofu ricotta (Veganomicon). Served with caramelised red onion, tomato and basil salad with balsamic reduction (my recipe).
Lasagne Verdi leftovers!

A few more, then I'll take a breather before uploading cupcake photos from two charity bake-sales I did in September (if people like photos of vegan cupcakes?).
Macaroons. Chocolate, strawberry, orange, lemon, lime. Adaptation of recipe from the Vegan Patisserie.
Jaffa cupcake. Tasted better than it looked (you can't really see the orange jelly in the photo). My recipe.
Mushroom meal. Made for my Mum, who loves mushrooms! Stuffed mushrooms with quinoa, butternut squash, red onion, peppers, edamame. Mushroom rice with mushrooms and peas. (Both my recipes.) Served with mushroom gravy (Veganomicon) (not in photo, oops)
Silken chocolate mousse cake (from My Sweet Vegan)
Meal from Bamboo Garden, Seattle. Spring roll, special fried rice, chow mein and something the name of which I forget but which was very tasty (dumplings, broccoli and carrot). Was a bit heavy and far too much food for one meal, but they gave me a take away box and it kept me going for three meals!

Everyone's food looks great! I especially like the looks of the Banoffee cupcakes, the ma po tofu, and that mouth-watering lasagne verdi!

OK. I have been wanting to ask this for weeks, but I have not, due to possible embarrassment for asking what is probably obvious to everyone else. What grain is porridge made from? Is it oats, like what Americans call oatmeal? If not, please enlighten me, because it looks REALLY good. Jealousy about those yummy photos has forced me to ask! My Irish, English, Scottish, and French ancestors are probably rolling in their graves right now, disgusted with my silliness. LOL

Wow that looks SO yummy. Did you make that or is it a restaurant?

I made it.

Its a VERY beautiful spread if I do say so myself. I really thought it was from a restaurant!

Wow. Respect to Risker. That looks like an awesome spread, and all the more impressive for being homemade. (Feeling hungry now!)

Chili! I used 4 different types of beans and decided to eat it with corn instead of the usual rice =)
My meals look kind of lame compared to everyone elses, but next time I bake a cake I'll get a good picture!
Personally I think your meals look lovely!
All these dishes look wholesome and delicious!
Firestorm, is that actually you in your avatar for once? Looks like Daniel Bedingfield!
Live and let live
Yep that's me (http://www.veganforum.com/forums/sho...l=1#post694495), do you really think that I look like Daniel Beddingfield?
In that picture you do - take it as a compliment.

Will do!- although I've always thought he was on the tubby side
You don't look tubby, not that it matters and not that anyone can tell such things anyway from a head shot!

I woke up late this morning (10 hours sleep - more than I have had since 2006) famished with low blood sugar so made this (Pan fried mushrooms, scrambled silken tofu with mayo, defrosted Vegourmet, fried tomato, baked beans, potato cakes and Vegetarians choice burger):
^ that looks delish, just the kind of food i want right now
Looked at this thread loads and it's all so healthy. This must be fixed!
Falafel, pepper and hummus wrap with hot chilli sauce
Sweet pepper, mushroom and chilli pizza.
Might look rubbish, but both amazing. Veganism's far too healthy, I've been after something greasy and stodgy for ages. Firestorm's fry up looks amazing though.
My only objection to Firestorm's fry up is that I much prefer sausages to burgers. So I would ditch the burger, replace with a couple of sausages (Linda McCartney/Redwood/ Fry's, all good!) and then devour. Nom!
Live and let live
I'm trying to use things up out of the freezer and I'm using my sausages for Toad in the hole tomorrow (some how burger in the hole just doesn't sound the same) so it was burger or nothing
