Mmm...everything looks so tasty!
Whoa. I just had a tasty idea. What about the eggplant fritters in the lasagna? Mind blown.

Blueberry Bliss Cheesecake from Vegan Pie in the Sky.
Photobucket isn't co-operating with me, I've already edited this picture but the original still comes up (it'll change later, it usually does). Does anyone else have that problem with Photobucket?

Houmous atá ann!
Yeah I get them problem, usually refreshing (F5) sorts it out though
Either refreshing photo bucket or refreshing the vegan forum once you have posted
I've have always found photobucket to be a pain-it always crashes halfway through my first upload :-/

All your food looks great FS! Did you make a birthday cake for yourself or for someone else's birthday?
Houmous atá ann!
Its for my birthday to take into work, the rule for our department is when its your birthday you bring cake and everyone else gets you a present.
Thanks so much! I'm actually 29 tomorrow, but still get asked for ID when I buy booze so I cant look too bad for my age

Here are the goodies I cooked for the vegans going to Long Dance:
Chocolate chip brownies
Crispy creole Chickpeas
White bean hummus with smoked Spanish paprika
Double choco chip cookies
Crunchy raw kale chips
Sweet potato chips (they were crunchy, but then a little chewy, which made them taste like sweet potato candy!)

I think I've died and gone to chocolate heaven, EpicLibrarian. I made something chocolate today too. I just need to work out how to get a photo on here. I may be some time. (Not good with this sort of thing!)
My first post on this thread, so I've pulled out all the stops and gone sophisticated on your vegan asses.
Yes, I made some cornflake cakes with my four year old* today. What? You know you want to make some now.
*Child optional. (Although useful for a good excuse to make cornflake cakes and spoon licking duties.)
^ Yum! I'm going to beg my GF to make me some now

Good luck! I've eaten three today. It's like they're begging me to eat them every time I open the fridge.
Hello! I'm new here I'm a university student, I run a vegan food blog in my (little) spare time - http://morethanveggies.tumblr.com/ (because we don't just chomp on greens!)
Here's some pics to whet your appetite

@EpicLibrarian, that food looks... epic. Wow. Yum.
@redshoes, I love chocolate cereal cakes too. First recipe I ever learned (not sure I was as young as four, but not far off!), and still one of my favourites!
@cabbage, love the blog!

Thank you, Rainbow. They're a great thing to make with children. I agree with you too, Cabbage your food looks amazing!
Made some rather chubby but tasty breadsticks with the little guy today. We rolled them in linseeds and sesame seeds.
They look so nice!
Chocolate/marshmallow ice-cream from my ice-cream maker!
Houmous atá ann!
That looks amazing Blueberries, what ingredients did you use to create that deliciousness?
Could I make something like that without an ice cream maker?
Thanks Leela! Its chocolate ice-cream w/Dandies marshmallows & chocolate shards stirred in. The chocolate ice cream is a recipe from the book 'Lick it!'. Its actually pretty straightforward- soya milk, coconut milk, melted chocolate and cocoa powder. You can make it without an ice-cream maker but you'll have to keep stirring it every few hours in the freezer to make sure it doesn't get ice crystals, 'Lick it!' has intructions. You could get chocolate Swedish Glace and stir stuff in, I'd say it's be pretty greatleela
Houmous atá ann!
Yumminess overkill! Anyone want to trade metabolisms with me so I can eat all this stuff?
Live and let live
Thanks, LouiseAbel! We just polished the last ones off with a pot of hummus. Mmmm, hummus...
Redshoes and Blueberries, I would jump off a cliff for those choco desserts! Okay, maybe just a small embankment, but they look spectacular!

Haha, I would but I've a pretty average metabolism, I just try to eat everything in moderation.rainbow

Goodness, EpicLibrarian! Thank you. I'd trade some cornflake cakes for your chocolate goodies any day of the week!
