yeah sure!
boil the kettle get a big pan
put in some marigold stock powder in the pan..pour on boiled water..get the stock rolling. can make it quite strong
slice up red chilli, ginger, garlic
slice up veg of your choice - onions? brocolli, small florets, mange tout, carrots, mushrooms, red peppers, owt you want/have floating about.
pop in the pan some noodles, i usually have spinach ones or tomato ones, use ramen, somen, whatever you like. have them cook a few minutes, tease them so theyre cooking evenly..maybe say something like " ha ha, im going to eat you in a minute, whatre you gonna do about THAT then?"
pop in everything youve just sliced up and let it simmer for just a few minutes..like 2 or something.
squeeze in lemon juice, slart in soya sauce
its ready pretty much.
can put on some toasted sesame seeds, drizzle of some sexy oil, slanty sliced spring onions, whatever you like or just as is.
ladle up..and eat.
the tofu was just sliced and pressed so it was kinda dry, scored slightly and marinated in soya sauce, ginger, agave syrup, that kind of thing. greaseproof paper on the grill, spray it with cooking oil grill it, turn it, grill it a bit more

There was plenty actually, looks less than there was.
Time to add a few more pics! I'm living in Paris for six months; the home made cakes are from the occasional trip home, but I don't have a proper kitchen in Paris so can't cook there. (But can get yummy food at eg the Loving Hut)
Black forest gateau (I made this):
Chocolate cake with ice cream (bought at Loving Hut, Paris):
Pear and apricot cake, also bought at Loving Hut, Paris:
I don't have any good pictures of savoury food to share at the moment. This is because when I have eaten out, I am so hungry that I start devouring the food before I remember to take a picture, and have only calmed down once we've got to dessert! And when eating at home in Paris, my pictures all look rubbish because I'm eating off brightly coloured plastic plates that don't exactly make the food look droolsome... but I have to say, Paris is better for vegans than it has ever been before. At least twenty (no really! Maybe more like 30!) different flavours of vegan yoghurt, a ton of different kinds of tofu, seitan and mock meat options, the best vegan cheese I have ever tasted, and traditional French staples such as fresh baguettes, carottes rapées and tabbouleh. Nom!
Live and let live
The black Forest gateau looks amazing, I've wanted to make (or have someone else make for me) one of those for ages.
Rainbow, you're so lucky that you can go to the Loving Hut! I went to one when I was in Tokyo and I loved it! Unfortunately there isn't one here in Barca Also all of your cake pictures look amazing!
Houmous atá ann!
Thanks guys! Blueberries, who needs Loving Hut when you have Gopal, and Lujuria Vegana? Their cakes are quite possibly the best I have ever had. *drools at the mere thought of them*
Risker, thanks! Give me a shout if you're in the London area after July, and I might be persuaded to make you one.

I'm in the London area after July! (I wasn't but am now )
All right! Black forest gateau party in East London in August! Me, Risker, any other takers?

^ In a heartbeat!
I may have overindulged just a tad on the ol' pizza tonight.
Excuse the shitey IPhone pic.
Yes, I ate it all and now feel a little ill as a result.
Not too ill to want some of that cake mind you.
Let the music mend our minds. Let the music bend our minds.
Hey Rainbow, random question. How do you feel it is being a vegan in France? I was told they really aren't accommodating to us. I figured with that and what I hear about the attitude towards Americans, I should avoid the country all together.

The vegans I know that have been there seem to really like it and they do have lots more vegan products now! And there's even a vegan b&b with a restaurant that sounds fantastic! http://www.gentlegourmetbandb.com/
And Rainbow, your cake looks AMAZING!!

Aubergine, chick pea and spinach curry (I steamed and finely chopped the spinach rather than wasting nutrients by boiling it)
Bombay Potatoes
Brown rice
Poppadom
Naan bread
Risker: yum
Kitteh: thanks!
DiaShel: sorry, wrote a really long post a few days ago saying how great Paris now is and how you should totally visit here, and then it got deleted because it was too long since I had logged in, and I was so annoyed that I couldn't bring myself to retype it. Sorry. So let me say YES Paris rules, check out the following if you need more persuasion: www.happycow.net (Paris); www.vegetarisme.fr (if you understand French); and check out the fantastic B&B that Kitteh recommended. You'll love it! (And more pictures of Paris noms to follow when I get more time online.)

Got a slow cooker yesterday:
and made Quinoa Corn Chowder:
"You're right, Jackie. The Fonz could beat up Bruce Lee."
And on Friday, I received some lovely vegan cakes through the post:
Clockwise from top - Cherry & Coconut Square, Chocolate Flapjack, Cornflake Square, Fruits of the Vine Square, Shortbread Jam Slice, and in the middle is the AMAZING Viennese Whirl. These cakes were ALMIGHTY
"You're right, Jackie. The Fonz could beat up Bruce Lee."
They look good!

Haha, wow Fonducoeur, that battered tempeh looks dirty (or as us Dubs say doirty) in an amazing way

Each snowflake in an avalanche pleads not guilty.
Home made "fish" fingers, chips, mushy peas and home made tartare sauce.
Backlog of food pictures! Have been in Paris lately with limited cooking facilities, but have had a couple of yummy meals in Paris restaurants so these photos are mostly from that.
Burger and chips, from Saveurs Veget'Halles, near Chatelet:
Seitan escalope with mushroom sauce, also from Saveurs Veget'Halles (the seitan was awesome, the accompaniments were a bit blah):
Chocolate and banana pudding, also from Saveurs Veget'Halles:
Chocolate mousse, topped with vegan cream, also from Saveurs Veget'Halles:
Stir-fry with marinated tofu and vegetables, tossed with rice noodles (home-made, as you can tell by our delightful plastic tableware here in Paris):
Creamy mushroom crepe, from the Loving Hut in Paris:
Soupe Pho (noodle soup with tofu, mock beef, onions and herbs), from the Loving Hut in Paris:

Risker and Rainbow, all of your food looks amazing! How did those fish fingers turn out Risker?
Houmous atá ann!
Pretty good, I've made them before but they were far too fishy for my taste last time and it put me off. They're just slices of tofu with a strip of nori, battered and deep fried.
Sounds like heaven.
