I'm in Auckland... Albany on the North Shore Thanks!
^ check out happycow.com. There are tons of places in Auckland. Golden Age is my favorite. There was a natural food shop that I really liked a lot. I wish we had stuff like that in Nelson. Not a single even vegetarian restaurant.

Oh, and if you join the NZ vegetarian society and get the newsletter you'll get information about happenings in the area. Good luck

Yesterdays Dinner (Please forgive the quality of the photo my camera went a bit weird) - Bread, Soya Cheese, Cranberry Stuffing Balls, Chorizo Sausages, Kafka Bites, Houmous, Houmouslaw (Coleslaw made with houmous), salad and pickles. This was followed by 2 bars of chocolate -
Todays Lunch - "Egg" & Sheese Salad sandwich, Branston Rice Cakes and salad.
Todays dinner - Kind of Paella/Kedgeree thing with Salad and Pickles
Tonights Dessert - Gummy Berry Delight
xwitchymagicx- those cinnamon buns look so good! I would say they are plenty photogenic!
Firestorm- that paella looks delicious!
tabbouleh-bouleh
xwitchymagicx, those buns look really good, you can see how moist and delicious they are! Was it easy to make them g-f?
Firestorm, that 'egg and cheese' sandwich looks really nice! It reminds me of the cheese, onion and egg-mayonaise rolls I used to buy in my vegetarian days.
Houmous atá ann!
thanks for the advice DiaShel - I'll have a look this evening! Great photos everyone... I could eat everything posted on here!
Dinner tonight - Chikin, Sheese and Coleslaw sandwich (Delicious) with Jimmy Con Carrne Crips, Salad, Pickles. Followed by a kind of Trifle.
The picked onions and gherkin are next to the salad. the Jimmy Con Carne crisps are O.K, they're better than the Frank Roast Dinner ones (they're the only 2 that are vegan), but I was just using them up.
I bought a 35 gram bag, liked them so bought a 6 pack, but by the time I got to the last pack I was getting a bit bored with them.
I'll be going back to my old staple - 1 pack of Salt and Vinegar Crisps, 1 Small pack peanuts, mixed and crunched up together - heaven!
Vegan "Fish Filet" (panko breaded tofu)
Served with lemon, Tartar Sauce and steamed cauliflower (covered in Buffalo Sauce)

Dinner last night in work - pasta, potato, Lincolnshire style mini sausage and a Biona lucky star. After finishing this I also had a pack of peanuts poured into a pack of salt and vinegar crisps and
a grown up milk shake (soya milk and Kahlua mocha) which aren't pictured:
Breakfast in work Tuesday - Oaty Yogurty thing:
Lunch Yesterday - Chikin, Sheese and Coleslaw Barm (looks awful but tastes divine):
Dinner tonight - Thrice cooked potatoes, Sausages, Gravy and Veg:
Like your style Firestorm!
Let the music mend our minds. Let the music bend our minds.
Steamed broccoli, nut roast, cranberry jelly, mustard, horseradish, mint sauce, peas, sweet & sour red cabbage, roasted red onion, roast carrots, roast potatoes, roast sweet potatoes, roast jerusalem artichoke, roast garlic. I did add gravy as well but it made the picture look a bit unpleasant.
Unfortunately, just after serving I realised that it wasn't Sunday but was in fact Friday, Friday, gotta get down on Friday so it was disposed of rather quickly.
This food doesn't look great, but tasted it.
Yesterdays Dinner - Barbeque, Sausage and Pineapple Pizza:
Lunch Today - Baked bean quesedilla:
Dinner Tonight - "Chicken and Chorizo" Cannelloni, in the dish, then plated:
Cannelloni looks great! Which cheese do you use?
Each snowflake in an avalanche pleads not guilty.
I used a slice of Tofutti Cheddar mixed into some warm soya milk with some cornflour to thicken it.
It was a bit runny today cos I used too much milk, but its usually better than this.
It does taste great cold as well, I just grabbed the leftovers out the fridge and finished them with a cup of hot chocolate
Dinner last night - homemade spring rolls, baked tamari tofu, noodles and sweet and sour stir fry veg:
And then I made some shortbread:
"You're right, Jackie. The Fonz could beat up Bruce Lee."
Actually, it was not too bad, I find a gluten free recipe online that contained eggs but I just removed the eggs and they were great! I just had to turn our oven down as it gets too hot...as the second time I substituted the egg and cooked on the temperature they suggested and they weren't as good as they got to dry as I wanted to see if it made any difference...so I suppose you have to know your oven to get them the right texture!
Here is the recipe on another forum: http://forums.glutenfree.com/viewtopic.php?t=4537
Thanks!
