Solfest festival - Cumbria, UK (Aug 26-28)

I'm going to Solfest for the first time with a friend, but I don't recognise any of the food traders' stalls, so can't work out if there's much (or anything) vegan available. I'm hoping to avoid taking all my food with me, but will if I have to. Has anyone been in previous years, and if so what was your experience eating as a vegan? http://www.solfest.org.uk/index.php

Never been, but had a look through the list of caterers (out of nosiness) and Nomad is a Vegetarian caterer with no mention of Vegan options on their website but you could email them to check.
Ghandi's Flip Flop do veggie curries, but again you would need to contact them to check vegan suitability.
Scoop Choc Ice do dairy free Sorbet as well.

Just a quick update in case it helps anyone else:
Nomad have replied to my email to say that all of their curries are suitable for vegans and that they also have soya milk available for tea and coffee.
I'll update if/when I hear from the others!

Yes we will be bringing the flip-flop to Solfest this year. It should be excellent fun. I too am vegan and our recipe's are mostly vegan friendly. We will have soya milk and all of our meals either are vegan already or with a minor adaptation become vegan, so there should be plenty for you....
