    Snacks: 3 sweets, plum
    Drinks: Water, coffee, blueberry banana hazelnut smoothie, wine

    Snacks: Twilight candy bar, mint chocolate easter egg

    Wild rice salad, potato salad, hummus, butterbean/tomato pate, olives.
    Vegetable soup.
    Half a wrap of chickpeas and sweetcorn in tomato sauce, salsa, hummus and lettuce.
    Green tea.

    Berry tea.
    Nettle tea.
    Soon will be eating: vegan Sunday lunch - lentil, mushroom, tomato and nut roast, roast potatoes in rosemary, carrots, broccoli, and gravy.

    Easter Sunday:

    Breakfast: Mixed spice oats with strawberries and coconut, with a blob of loganberry jam
    Snack (!): Moo Free chocolate egg and an Easter cookie
    Lunch: Couple of crackers with houmous, carrot sticks, BBQ pringles and some grapes
    Dinner: Roast dinner with nut roast, roast potatoes, carrots, broccoli and mashed swede.
    Snack: Hot Cross Bun, strawberries, chocolate coins and rhubarb and custard sweets

    Washed down with plenty of red wine and Licor 43!

    Lunch: Seitan sandwich with mustard mayo, pickles, salad, cassava crisps, swedish glace vanilla & peanut butter ice cream
    Dinner: Curried rice, frys soy chikin, chickpeas romseco
    Snacks: Some dark chocolate Easter egg, whole white chocolate easter egg (vegan of course), apple, pear, chocolate, granola, 1/4 porkless pie
    Drinks: Water, coffee.

    I've been slacking off here, swamped with school but had to take a break.

    breakfast: bowl of oatbran with cinnamon and stevia; green smoothie with mango, lots of spinach, banana, ice water; black coffee (still cant break the habit)
    lunch: sprouted english muffin (ezekiel) with white bean spread and red pepper; garden salad with raw veggies and pineapple and squirt of braggs; green tea
    afternoon snack: apple
    dinner: Aloo Gobi (red potato, carrot, onion, tomato, cauliflower, chickpeas with turmeric, garam masala, cumin, cinnamon, pepper, ginger) and a glass of almond milk.

    I made the entire dinner for Easter at my Mom's with my sister and husband:
    lentil/vegetable loaf with homemade bbq sauce; white basmatti rice with chopped mango and shredded carrot and spices; gluten free skillet cornbread (for Mom); gluten free double chocolate brownies and I had my first taste of So Delicious coconut milk vanilla bean flavored ice cream. Expensive but worth the treat!

    Today has just begun (being lazy). Yesterday I ate...

    Breakfast: Nothing

    Lunch: Millet bread topped with hummous, sliced avocados, tomatoes, onion and pickled red cabbage.

    Dinner: Sausage (Linda Macs), bean and veg stew with kale colcannon.

    Dessert: Fresh sliced indian mangoes, with Swedish Glace ice cream and plain chocolate drops

    Snack: Hummous and chilli sauce with seeded flat breads, roasted red peppers, chargrilled artichokes and olives.

    Bit of a stodgy icky day...must do better!

    Did you make the millet bread? I am wondering if it was gluten free. I am thinking about making GF vegan millet bread for my Mom for Mothers day. I have never had it before and have never tried baking a gluten free flour yeast bread (though I have made hundreds of whole wheat loaves). I am almost afraid to try but I have been wanting to attempt this one for a while. I would love to hear your experience with it. Thanks!

    Mixed vegetable and rice noodle stirfry with a lot of soy sauce.
    Salt and vinegar rice crackers and hummus.
    Green tea x 3.

    It is gluten free; we actually just bought it. Looking at the packet, the back says it has more buckwheat than millet but it is labeled as a millet loaf and was very tasty.

    Yesterday - weetabix and soy milk, houmous/spinach/tomato pitta bread with avocado and alpro soya chocolate desert, wholemeal spaghetti with homemade sauce (lentils, tomatoes, celery, carrots all blended). Then an entire bar of dark chocolate to get me through a night of revision.

    How's your gluten free diet coming LouiseAbel? Do you find it is making any difference?
    I tried totally gluten free for a while and didnt find any difference, but when I reintroduced gluten man did I have diarrhea and food cravings but only for a short time. Weird. My Mom has Celiac (she gets skin rashes, headaches, nausea fatigue from consuming gluten) but I was tested in 2006 due to family history (I had both blood tests and endoscopy with biopsy of intestinal tract) and all was negative. Still I do find that when I stick to less wheat and gluten in my diet I have less food cravings for crap food. Your meals seem pretty dang tasty considering!

    breakfast: oat bran with cinnamon and stevia
    green smoothie: orange, frozen mango, spinach, ice water

    morning snack glass of almond milk and fresh pineapple

    lunch sprouted english muffin with red pepper slice and white bean spread
    apple

    dinner garden salad with chia seeds added (first time I have tried them) and chopped walnut, mushroom, beets, brocoli, red onion, red pepper, romaine lettuce and spinach. Balsamic vinegar and agave mixed and added.
    loads of plain popcorn with braggs sprayed on it.
    glass of almond milk

    this morning I just had a huge bowl of steel cut oats i had put in the crockpot last night with chopped apple and raisins. Shared some with my omnivore husband and he loved it (though I had to load his with added sugar...it's the only way I can get him to eat anything healthy). Soooo good!

    Mixed baby greens with a sprinkle of sunfower seeds and avocado and raw vegan "Caesar" dressing that I made
    Mexican spiced pinto beans and rosemary and roasted red pepper cornbread with agave "butter"

    Vegan tacos for dinner: whole wheat tortillas with boca crumbles spiced with homemade taco seasoning, vegan refried beans, salsa, and Tofutti Sour Cream
    Spinach dip made with tofutti sour cream and homemade mayo and eaten with those black bean and garlic tortilla chip
    Gin and tonic with a twist of lime

    That dinner was sublime! My husband couldn't even tell it was vegan, and didn't even miss the cheese.

    I am eating so much healthier and tastier since I went vegan!

    Okay, apparently I was really into Mexican food yesterday!

    lunch another coffee and raw vege juice with some chocolate self saucing pudding so raw fruit juice witheld as punishment for my sin

    dinner was a fab roast with mock roast, lots of vegies and gravy - all vegan of course

    Thanks for asking, Robinwomb. =) I'm not sure whether it's made a difference. I mean, I know when I have cut out wheat my skin has improved (I've been suffering with itchy skin all over my body for about 3 months now... Sounds silly but it's really ruined my life for that period of time) but I can't be sure that it's definitely the wheat. Also, it doesn't cure the itchiness 100%, so I think possibly something else is a factor. (My doctor originally thought it might be scabies so it could still be that I suppose). I only gave it up for a week last time and I'm trying two weeks to a month this time and have only done 5 days so far so we'll see if it's better after a month!
