I have a good friend, who is in serious training for running, wanting more information on veganism. Specifically, he wants to know, form a recovery standpoint, what does a whole-foods vegan diet offer? He already eats mostly vegetarian with limited dairy, so not too big of a switch and he's more than willing to make the switch if it benefits him.
I'm convinced it would, but where will I find comprehensive studies on the matter?
