    Default Falling energy levels after some weeks on a (mostly raw) vegan diet?

    Greetings all:

    I'm in my late 50's and live in an quasi-urban area. I have repeatedly found that when I attempt to go vegan (mostly raw) I do very well for the first 12-14 weeks but then I have a drop in energy.

    This has happened to me 3 or 4 times.
    Any thoughts?

    Maybe you are lacking in iron? This could make you weaker as it affects the blood's ability to carry oxygen, and perhaps the changes just take a while to kick in? This is simply guessing though. Are you taking supplements? Any changes in calorie intake when you become vegan?

    I had the same issue. I solved it with a daily Men's multi-vitamin and a B12 vitamin supplement. Now I'm bright eyed and bushy tailed
