The scientific name of Vitamin A is Retinol. Its impossible to overdose on beta-carotene. The body has a safety mechanism where it stops making Retinol(Vitamin A) from beta-carotene when it has reached its requirements.
Retinol toxicity can only happen by eating large quantities of liver. Omnivores/carnivores like dogs, cats, bears, etc.. have a safety mechanism where they can convert Retinol to a non-toxic molecule. We humans don't have this safety mechanism. Hence we aren't omnivores.
Yes. Obviously because of the oils. Also very inflammatory.
