I just got back from backpacking for a month and my poor body is so devoid of nutrients!! Besides 4 days at a friend's house (who bought me a whole load of vegan friendly food), I've been making do with pretty much pasta and boring salads. So, since being home I've been essentially stuffing my face...here's what I had today:
Breakfast: Spinach smoothie with almond milk, spinach, flax, chia seeds, banana, misc. berries, and protein powder.
Second breakfast: Ditto!
Lunch: Refried beans, home-made cheeze sauce, avocado, salsa and jalapenos on a tortilla
Snack: Chickpeas with nutritional yeast
Supper: Kale salad and another burrito
Dessert: Vegan freezer fudge with some peanut butter and a glass of almond milk
I ate so much today...I feel disgusting! But my body seems to be craving specific things so I'm listening!
yesterday:

Haha, thanks . I get stuck in food ruts sometimes so I'm trying to get more variety.
I need to eat better, I'm just on these tabs at the moment which have the horrible side effect of increased appetite, and normally for sweet things/carbs.

I'm sorry that you're having to deal with the side-effects of medication . You eat pretty well in comparison to most people so just concentrate on letting the medication work for you and getting better, don't beat yourself up over your diet *hugs*
