Default Vegan football food - Euro 2012

As is my want, I usually try and cook something vaguely vegan from the country England are playing; in the past this has meant that the food has been far better than the football...

Our next game is Ukraine on Tuesday night, and I'm really struggling for inspiration - can anyone help, please?

NB - Please do not suggest Vegan Chicken Kiev - even the thought of chicken makes me want to projectile vomit copiously(Chicken factory farming was what made me veggie and ultimately vegan way back in the mists of time)

    Ta!

Hi Owei! Did you manage to rustle something up? England is still in the Euro, right? What will your next country fare challenge be?

Should be fairly easy Pusskins - they're playing Italy next!

Sadly Pusskins, I ran out of time due to one thing and another and ended up with Spag Boll leftovers from the night before, was yummy though. I used some of Tesco's Free from mince, which worked really well and Mrs OWEI was happy.

As Barry says, we play Italy on Sunday in the quarter finals - that one will be easy food-wise, although I may try and stretch myself with something I haven't tried - I'm thinking there may be some biscotti involved!

If we get through then we will in all probability face Germany in the semis, which will give me a great excuse to order a load of Vegourmet stuff!

Well, seeing as you had something Italian-y for the Ukraine match, then you must attempt something really challenging for the next match! Biscotti, definitely. Tiramisu. A raw lasagne and a cooked lasagne? Ravioli!
