I feel really stupid but I had these in my veggie bag and I thought they might be broad beans but am not sure

Since I buy all sorts of beans dried or tinned I am unfamiliar with fresh beans... Lol... What am I supposed to do with these?

They look like broad beans but I amn't 100% sure. Have you tried looking up broad beans on Google Images? As for what to do with them maybe put them in salads, or steam and salt them and have them as a side dish like edamame? Or steam/boil them to soften them and blend them up with other things to make dips or pâtés?

Mmmh. Just boiled them in saltwater for 3 mins and put them straight in ice water and no I can't hold myself back from eating them just like that... Haha

Yes I think they are broad beans. The bigger ones are nicer if you remove the skins round the beans after cooking (bit of a faff!) but yours look quite small so they wil probably be great as they are. I like them with a squeeze of lemon.

I got these, this week. I lightly fry them with lemon, chilli and garlic and toss with linguine. Last time we got them we sauteed them in a little water and a veggie stock cube and covered so they steamed for a while, then served with gravy on top as part as a roast...yummy!
