Default Asian Vegan Kitchen by Hema Parekh

I got this book (along with Big Vegan, 500 Vegan Recipes and 30 Minute Vegan) from the library. It looks really good, the recipes seem very authentic. The author comes from an Indian Jain background and is a cookery teacher in Japan, which is an interesting combination. Does anyone have this book, and if so what do you think of it?
    Houmous atá ann!

Books always remind me of the Family Guy episode in which Brian is chatting up a young girl who never looks up from her smart phone once ..

    "I'm writing a book .."

    "What's a book?"

    "Errr .. its a large magazine .."

    "What's a magazine?"

"Errrr .. It's like the internet but made out of trees"

Point being that my tempurah battered keyboard belies the fact that I no longer own any recipe books at all.
All done in the best possible taste ...

Haha, yeah I love that episode! You don't have to own books, I've been lucky enough to be able to supplement my cookbook knowledge with books from the library

I'm not going the book route matey ...

I want an iPad, or something, with a full range of utensils (whisk, blenders etc) that plug directly into it's USB!

    No idea BB ..

It was only recently that I learned that an iPad is not something that ladies carry discretely in their handbags.

I have this book and I think it is a good one. I have cooked a few dishes from this book and they all turn out well and taste gorgeous, although some of them I have tone down the chilly a bit !
