Vegan Musicians

Hi! My band T.R.A.C (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Throw-Rocks-At-Cops/122430204470595) are looking for a new drummer, if this wasnt hard enough we need a vegan drummer as the whole band is vegan and involved with various animal rights. Were in Doncaster (just down the road from Sheffield) and aim to practice at least every 2 weeks and gig as much as possible!

Also for myself im looking for vegan drummers or bassists for a more crusty/hardcore kind of band. Mainly been looking for members in Doncaster, Leeds, Sheffield and Manchester as im able to travel pretty easily between those places

I am looking for a bassist, a lead guitarist and a rhythm guitarist to for a rock / metal band. We are a vocalist and a drummer.



You don't need to be experienced (having played live gigs) but you need to play at an advanced level and be willing to compose original material. We will start by learning 5 to 10 cover songs that you will need to master within the next month or two (we will all decide which songs are more suitable) and we will proceed to play gigs live to gain some live experience. If all goes well, we will start composing original material in the hopes of recording an album soon and try to get us noticed. Needless to say that you need to be committed about this project and this needs to be your number 1 priority after your actual job (we know you still have to pay the bills :P). You will be required to rehearse weekdays and weekends and you will need to be able to travel to Lewisham, South East London (where we rent a garage to rehearse) or have your own garage/studio where we can travel.

Our influences are: Europe, Dio, Audioslave, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin.
Finally, I would like to mention that I don't want to take on board any one that has any addiction issues, so no stoners, heavy drinkers, drug users (street or prescription).
We are both vegans and animal activists. We will take the opportunity to spread our message in the lyrics and you are more than welcome to offer your input.

As you can see there is a lot of work to do still so that is why we will need to rehearse daily.
