    Exclamation Northern Vegan Festival!

    http://www.northernveganfestival.com/

    Hey guys!

The first "Northern Vegan Festival" will be taking place in central Manchester on Sat 13th April 2013 and we would appreciate your help in making it a successful event!

If this first event goes well we plan to move it to a different Northern city each year. It's £1 on the door, we have over 90 stalls as well as talks, cookery demos, films, children's activities and entertainment - it's gonna be a good one!

More info available on the website, or you can ask me in this thread

There is also a free entry aftershow party from 6pm until late at Manchester's only vegetarian/vegan pub - the Thirsty Scholar. The pub is only 15 mins walk from Sachas Hotel and 2 mins walk from Oxford Road train station. Musicians and other entertainment upstairs from 6pm until 9pm, party downstairs from 6pm until late.

    This looks pretty fancy.

I'll have to check what I'm up to closer to the time, but it looks a lot like I might be crossing the border to come and check it out.

Cool! May make the trip up, still haven't been to Manchester.

    Will consult with the calendar.

In that picture, is the soya stuff in the tin condensed soya milk? If so, is it nice? I've seen it online but I'm not really sure if it is worth getting. Your thoughts?

Yeah its condensed soya milk, I've not tried it yet. It was £4.50 so I am going to find a good recipe to use it in before I open it but I will report back as soon as I do

Let us know how it goes! Can it be used to make toffee? I think the same company might do a vegan caramel/dulce de leche.
