Well, if you combine this ..
With this ..Food and non-alcoholic drink purchases contributed £53.20 to weekly household expenditure – £13.90 of which was spent on meat and fish, £4.00 on fresh vegetables, and £3.10 on fresh fruit. Non-alcoholic drinks accounted for £4.30 of weekly expenditure, and £2.20 per week was spent on chocolate and confectionery.

£13.90 x 52 X 26,300,000 = £19,009,640,000?There were 26.3 million households in the UK in 2011

Roughly twice what is spent on fresh fruit & veg combined.
Using the fact that livestock requires about 10 times more food to be consumed than livestock yeilds as meat-'food' I attempted to approximate the total subsidy each and every household pays (to make meat that cheap) per year from that. Got as far as that the subsidy per household (i.e. meat tax burden per household) was far greater than the actual average household spend on meat .. then my brain overheated and switched itself to DEFCON 5. I may need to leave it in the fridge to cool down overnight.
