Default Making oat milk from groats

Hi - oat milk recipes call found online call for starting with either 1/4 cup groats, or 1 cup groats, and blending with 4 cups water (after soaking). That's a huge difference! What's the right ratio, in your experience? Thanks very much.

Hi JohnE, welcome to th forum! You're right that there is a big difference between 1/4 of a cup and 1 cup! I've never made oat milk, my guess is that it could be to do with how thick you want it to be?
