    Default Ultra-pacifist veganism

For the past few months, I've been considering restricting my diet to only plant-based foods in which the plant does not die when harvested from (i.e. Apples do not kill the tree when eaten, but a potato is a root and kills off the entire plant when consumed).

Does anybody have any recipe ideas that work for this diet?

This is what a fruitarian diet is. Searching for 'fruitarian' should give you tons of results.

Hi and welcome to the forum! Any particular reason that you would like to eat this way?

    Fruitarian diet, yes.

Bgibbs; The Jains follow a largely fruitarian diet. You might find some useful recipes igf you google for 'jain recipes' too. Most likely that the recipes will mostly be in the Indian cookery style though.

Probably worth googling 'green smoothies' too!
All done in the best possible taste ...

I would inform yourself about the nutritional aspects of a fruit-only diet though, because there are valuable nutrients in some of the foods you will exclude, e.g. calcium and iron in green leafy vegetables - there may be other ways to get these but I would research the topic rather than just hoping for the best.
