Certain proverbs, or everyday sayings, can be annoyingly inconsistent with vegan values. For example, "Killing two birds with one stone", "A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush", or "Don't count your chickens before they're hatched". Yet there's wisdom there, or they're a handy, concise way to make a point - so I'd prefer not to throw out the baby with the bathwater.
Would anyone care to write any such sayings to make them vegan-friendly?
