vegan shortening?

I'm just wondering if there are any Australians in here that can recommend a vegan shortening i can use in buttercream frosting ??

I can't seem to find the range earth balance anywhere. I live in adelaide.

Earth Balance is an American brand so you probably wouldn't get it outside of the US and Canada. I am sorry that I cannot be of further help as I am not in Oz!

Have you tried coconut oil? I usually replace anything that calls for shortening with that.
