I have been looking for nutritional yeast for a while. I have looked in a couple of supermarkets but nothing so far. Does it have another name it may go by? What section is it normally in? Thanks.

Hi Kindred, I can't see your details with the app I use to view the forum, but I am assuming that you are in Europe? If you are in the UK or Ireland the best place to get it would be a healthfood shop. The brand available is Engevita and there are two varieties, original (black tub) and with b12 (blue tub). You can also get it online from sites that sell vegan stuff and healthfoods.
Houmous atá ann!
I can see an old post on here that says it's sometimes called savoury yeast in Australia, and that a common brand is Lotus, which is available in health food shops. Not sure how much of that is still true but if you google "savoury yeast Australia" a few things come up.

Sorry, Blueberries, must have posted at the same time as you but kindred seems to be in Adelaide
What country are you in? You could try ordering it by the case. Try any co-op/health food store. In the US, Whole Foods would be an option. Keep in mind not all nutritional yeast is vegan, but one brand that I know is vegan is NOW. The UPC for NOW Nutritional Yeast Powder is 7 33739 02460 2, I don't know if it's available outside of the US but if you are in the US (or want to try anyway) and try ordering it, if you give the grocery store that UPC they can probably order it, as long as they carry other items from that company.
You can try these links to Australian onine shops:
Cruelty free shop just sell Lotus brand: http://www.crueltyfreeshop.com.au/pr...akes-100g.html
Vegan online has an Adelaide office and sells both Lotus & Marigold:

Try in small "health food shops". We have one in town, they sell it. No other shop or store sells it here.
