Are you still losing weight, Roxy?....
"Animals are my friends... and I don't eat my friends". ~ George Bernhard Shaw.
I'm pretty steady at 134 pounds now, which I'm happy with. Does it look like I'm not eating much?
No, I was just curious because I'm trying to lose (well, starting today) 10 pounds, and thought maybe you could share some "tricks". You look great BTW.
"Animals are my friends... and I don't eat my friends". ~ George Bernhard Shaw.
Thanks!
Well, what I do might not work for a lot of people - but I calorie count every day except for one day each week when I have a "cheat" day. (Actually that day is tomorrow and I'm looking forward to getting stuck into my vegan donut holes )
I eat between 1600 and 1800 calories a day (depending on how active I am or where I am in my menstrual cycle) and keep my fat intake at 30% or less.
All the best with your weight loss efforts Kriz If you need any support - just PM me!
Oh, thanks, Roxy. You know, you're so right about that "cheat" day - last time I was on a weightloss plan (ten years ago!!) it was so useful to have one day of where I could eat something "sinful" and delicious. Potato chips was usually my deal. I lost 20 pounds in a 3 months (from 140 to 120).
"Animals are my friends... and I don't eat my friends". ~ George Bernhard Shaw.
Wow!! That's great! Congratulations
Cheat days help me to be good during the rest of the week. I eat cookies every day anyway, but at least there's one day a week, where I don't have to worry about how many cookies I have
Well, that was 10 years ago.... quite a few pounds are back again. I'll try to stay on 1600 to 1800 calories a day like you do and I'll see what will happen. Thanks again.
"Animals are my friends... and I don't eat my friends". ~ George Bernhard Shaw.

Woke up after a few hours sleep after nightshift and had:
Smoothie with banana, golden flaxseeds, frozen mixed summer fruits and a glug of apple and mango juice.
I made really tasty raspberry and almond muffins today, so I've had a couple of them
For dinner with housemate made tomato-garlic-herb "meat"balls from country herb sosmix with added tomatoes, garlic and extra herbs, rolled into balls and baked, and to go with those had potato wedges, cabbage lightly sauted with onion and soy sauce, and some boiled peas and sweetcorn.
I made bread rolls with a mix of strong white and wholemeal flour and rolled oats, and used some of the dough with the leftover sosmix to try to make croissant style pigs in blankets - didn't come out quite how I was expecting (and looked like dog treats!) but tasty nonetheless - had a few of those but they were only small.
