jamboxrock,
How do you make/get vegan bleu cheese? That sounds interesting...
angelamc, im interested in getting/making bleu cheese as well!
you live in l.a. right?
because i know that nasoya makes a "bleu cheese" dressing and it is sold at whole foods market. i dont know if you have one there. it might be sold other places as well. go on their website.
but anyway, i live in vancouver, and at the whole foods market here, they told me that that the bleu cheese was only available in the states .
so im still looking.....
Holy cow, if I found a vegan bleu cheese dressing I'd probably drink the whole bottle. If it was any good, of course.
The bleu cheese I got was actually Sheese - I've been spelling it wrong. I got it from veganessentials.com when I ordered a bunch of stuff. It cost about 9 bucks, but damn if it isn't good, and a little bit goes a long way cause the flavor is really strong. So far the wheel has gone into four entree sized salads and enough sauce for three dinners, and I still have a fourth of it left. If you liked regular bleu cheese then I highly recommend it. Haven't had their other flavors yet, but I've heard only good things.
