today is my 18th birthday
had:
leftover potatoes with red wine sauce, aubergine/sesame thingys, pancakes and a salad.
some leftover rice/almond pudding.
a really nice pasta salad with fried oyster mushrooms, fried portobello mushrooms, almond filled green olives, fresh cherry tomatoes, white and purple aubergine, red pesto and elderflower vinegar. - it was really good.
and then of course, a birthday cake, made with one layer of chocolate/orange cake, one layer of karamel créme, one layer of fresh strawberrys, another layer of cake and then a thick layer of chocolate mousse, and then loads of strawberrys, sprinkles and chocolate pieces. it was amazing. still have half left, and we were six people eating

I'm in the midst of final exams (had one today, and I have one tomorrow and the next day), so my eating routine has been a bit weird:
Breakfast: flax bagel with tofutti cream cheese. Cup of English breakfast tea.
Snack (during exam): Denman island hazelnut dark chocolate bar
Snack (after exam): banana
Late lunch (after nap): bowl of leftover kale/rice stir fry
Snack (at suppertime): baked potato with earthbalance and tofutti sour cream
Dessert: a few sliced strawberries dipped in leftover nutty chocolate sauce
Snack (around 9:00 p.m.): carrots and cucumbers dipped in CC's raw goddess dressing
Snack (11:00 p.m.): bowl of oatmeal with maple syrup mixed in.
Lots of snacking today! Usually I do this during exams because I don't have time to cook while studying, but looking at what I ate, I think I could have made 2 decent meals with the time I spent preparing snacks LOL.

and have just snacked on cider, more salad, some leftover mash with purespread and pepper, and nw im going t bed!

Lunch- bread with vegetables on it only and like 5 onion rings.
Dinner-fatfree refried beans with salsa mixed together and i dipped corn chips in it and then a small portion of oatmeal with salt.
