Congrats Mooli! It is so hard to go without sugar for me. Good Job.
Today I was bad and had a piece of vegan vanilla cake with chocolate fudge frosting and a hot mug of coffee and soymilk.

Surely to God that's not all?!
I'd be soooo hungry
Thanks for the encourgaement re: sugar. It's not been too bad actually but can't wait to eat some fruit. Normally I would eat fruit but because I really overdid it on sugar recently I'm going without for a week. I'm hoping to stay off all sweet things but fruit for another two weeks after that...
I am just getting back from Thanksgiving away, but I thought I would share what we had...
tofurky w/roast veggies
vegetable pot pie w/corn, peas, celery, carrots, tofu in an onion/garlic sage gravy
mashed sweet potatoes
acorn squash stuffed with dried fruit and earth balance
cranberry sauce
mushroom and celery stuffing

fizzy juice
desserts were soyatoo whipped cream, and coconut-ginger-macadamia carrot cake w/coffee and vanilla soycreamer

Breakfast: Toast with hazelnut butter.
Lunch: Onion baji, tomato & oregano roll, chocolate crispy thing.
Dinner: I managed to put something tasty together this evening, which doesn't happen often. I fried leftover onion, butter beans, mushrooms and sun-dried tomatoes. Also boiled some potatoes. Then I covered it with a sauce made of olive oil, tomato puree, pumpkin/hemp seed oil and mustard. It was nice. I've lost my enthusiasm for cooking a bit since starting a new job, but perhaps I'm getting back in the groove.
Sort of but it's very...smooth. No chunks in it at all.
Peace, love, and happiness.
it's yummy! It always makes me want cream of wheat when i read veggie girls posts.
Look - wikipedia has a whole section on cream of wheat...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cream_of_Wheat
There's also cream of [brown] rice that's very similar. I think it's even yummier than cream of wheat.
Peace, love, and happiness.
