    black coffee

    sliced tomatoes on brown bread with sunflower seeds in it

    and...um...about half a packed of digestive biscuits. i discovered a brand here which don't feel the need to put mysterious whey powder in *shakes fist a mcvities. see, it can be done!* and have horrible period pains today. the only thing, it would seem, that could comfort me was to eat all those biccies. oops. i do feel better now though though slightly gutted i haven't got one to dipi into the tea i'm about to make!

    I am probably going to have another schnitzel with some veggies stirfried in olive oil and garlic for dinner. Whenever I buy any new vegan food I eat it until it's all gone, I think it's the novelty value.

    So far, I've had lunch which was top ramen noodles with chili powder, lemon pepper, garlic powder and salt, with the leftover shreds of salad/carrot/cucumber/lettuce/bell pepper I had from a few days ago.

    And a glass of orange juice.

    As an added side note, I never thought I'd be able to cook me up a good tasting ramen packet alternative, but I guess I can!
    Either this wallpaper goes, or I do.

    I've been eating them ever since I went vegan (two years ago) and I still love them as much as the first time I tried them - I think my record was four in a day In my opinion they're MUCH nicer than Larabars (which I've only just tried and I think they're severely overrated) and taste similar to Nakd bars but smoother, sweeter and less 'oaty'. Plus they're packed with protein which Nakd bars are a bit lacking in. The Berry one's my favourite but I have a very, very sweet tooth so other people might find this one a bit too much. Can't go wrong with the chocolate one and the PB one is quite neutral so perhaps a good one to try first? Yikes, I wrote an essay - I'm a little obsessed with them

    Breakfast - Banana, satsumas (2).

    Lunch - 4 slices of wholemeal bread with roasted red pepper houmous (1 due to chickpeas).

    Dinner - salad (lettuce, onion, tomatoes, red pepper, cucumber and grated carrot) with quinoa (6, yes my salads are huge and i love them ).

    Snacks - saltanas, fig (2).

    Drinks - pineapple juice, water, southern comfort, vodka and cola (1).

    I believe that is 12 fruit and veg.

    emmapresley don't worry about what you've eaten. I have those days too. Tortilla chips, dip, bourbons (a WHOLE pack on these days ), crisps etc. Never good for my self esteam (sp?) . Eating 'healthy' food is easier for me to handle as I used to have anorexia but I try not to hang on it much. I've gotten used to eating though and am healthy now, just those days can get to me as it reminds me of binge days . Glad that's not the case now . When I'm on my period I can get HUGE cravings though lol.

    L: 2 slices of Sosmix/onion/mushroom/tomato puree roll. Tortilla wraps filled w/ lettuce, spring onion, yellow pepper, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes. Homemade chocolate-banana shake.

    S: Black sesame Japanese crackers.

    D: Coriander rice, lentil dhal, onion/potato/wilted spinach w/ curry powder. Nakd cherry flavour raisins. Another bowl of strawberries, raspberries, blueberries.

    Snacks - dried mix fruit, 2 strawberry alpro yogurts, salt and vinigar crisps.

    Drinks - pineapple juice, unsweetened soya milk with added calcium, water.

    Thank you Harpy for posting that website. Made me think more about the calcium in my food. It's in alot of food I didn't think it would be in to be honest and I don't have to worry too much really. 1000mg is enough for my age apaprently. The soya milk I get has 300mg and 2 soya yogurts have 300mg. That's 60% of my needs there alone .

    I have felt so sick and full up today, I've just had toast and green tea so far. Serves me right really!

    • penne pasta with artichokes, kalamata olives, marinera sauce, and parma
    • glass of apple cider
    • another cup of tea
    • 3/4 of a homemade ww calzone filled with cashew/tofu ricotta, mushrooms, spinach, onions, kalamata olives, spices, and tomato sauce topped with extra sauce

    Four cups of cranberry juice throughout the day
    an apple
    salad, tomato/green bean mix thing, chips and salsa
    bush's vegetarian baked beans, salad
    a whole bag of sea salt and vinegar kettle chips
    water
    Either this wallpaper goes, or I do.

    Thursday:
    Two slices of toast. Soya milk hot chocolate.
    Minestrone and another slice of toast.
    Mashed potato. Green beans. Chickpeas. Hummus. Falafels.
    Mumbai mix. Soya nuts.

    Yesterday:
    Sheese, pickle and watercress sandwich.
    Pitta bread filled with falafel, hummus, tomato, watercress, peri peri sauce and reggae reggae sauce.
    One glass of cranberry juice. One glass or cranberry and grape juice.
    Vegetable chili. Rice.
    One square of ginger chocolate.
