washing it down with a Cobra.
What did I eat today? Too many carbs! In my defense, however, our area was under a lot of tornado warnings off and on. So many that our local news meteorologist said that Georgia received it's first ever "PDS" (or Particularly Dangerous Situation). Having to go up and down from the basement from about 3-9pm didn't leave much time for cooking and nutritious meals. The good news is that the weather spared us this time. Nothing more than a few false alarms and rumbles of thunder in the distance.
For breakfast I had a vegan waffle with some Earth Balance vegan butter and maple syrup and coffee with vanilla soymilk creamer.
Lunch was skipped (grrrr) because I was trying to simultaneously tend to my six year old kidlet, fold laundry and keep an eye on the weather.
Snack (while I was in the basement dodging the weather) was a Primal Strip Texas BBQ vegan jerky.
Dinner was a whole wheat pita with organic tomato slices and Nayonaise, kelp flakes and black pepper.
I was pretty hungry, so about an hour ago I had some raspberry lemonade, Rudi's sourdough bread toasted and a spoon of peanut butter.
Sorry, I misspelled it. It's called ramsons or bear's garlic. It's leaves taste like a mixture of garlic and chives. Quite a strong flavour but very tasty. In Germany you can find it in every forest at the moment. I prefer buying it at the farmers market because I'm afraid to mix it up with lilies of the valley which look quite like ramsons.

Porridge with ANY kind of nut/seed butter is AWESOME! Try it try it!!!
I miss peanut butter. Here in Nagasaki they only have tiny containers of peanut "cream" which always has some kind of oil ["vegetable" oil I think- never palm or other kind of semi-tolerable kind], sugar AND salt. I've only seen one or two kinds that don't have milk added as well. It's so strange, but I guess 100% peanut butter isn't really a Japanese food. Ohhh well. Less than four months and I will be reunited with bread and peanut butter and all the other delicious foods that Americans demand and are supplied with. Ha!

Some people here don't seem to eat enough to feed a flea! And what happened to the idea of eating at least 5 portions of fruit and veg? I know it's none of my business but I can't help feeling concerned
I'm going to copy SnowyWhite's meal and make pasta with mushrooms, garlic and soya cream later. So far all I have had today is 2 cups of tea with soya milk and sugar and 2 rolls with pure and marmite.
I do think that some people on this thread seem to eat very little. I assume the people that eat the same amount as me never post! But then my husband only eats one meal a day and he doesn't have an ED or anything, he just doesn't get very hungry.
I need to eat more fruit but my fruit bowl is empty.
