Each snowflake in an avalanche pleads not guilty.
never had a flat sausage....
lol you silly americans with your mental ideas
What?! I really have NEVER had a flat sausage! The whole point of a sausage is that it's sausage shaped!!
Today I've eaten:
vegan BLT sandwich
water
handful salted kettle chips
fry's cutlet with wedges and broccoli. oh and gravy
last of yesterday's choccy biccie cake with choccy rice cream
rice cream and choc chip sandwich
i had a vegan BLT type sarnie today too.it was really nice..put hp sauce on it too..joyous scoffs.

The first time I was in US waters I saw people eating sausages with syrup for breakfast and I was horrified. Apparently it is normal. I think it is nuts.
seriously, ruby. Never had a flat sausage! You people are craaaaaazy! Like putting "fluff" on sandwiches. like wtf??!!
I'm on your side. Coming from sausage country, I can't approve of flat sausages.
Thanks petunia, that's really interesting, I'll have a look and see if I can the book I think of stodge as heavy, mainly starchy foods I guess.
I don't like sausage/bacon/maple syrup combos ! When I go back home (to Canada) my sis is always dishing maple syrup up with everything ! I take mustard (proper "HOT" mustard, not the funny sweet, mild stuff ) and yeast extract with me which makes her cringe
May I add that I've just eaten a massive sandwich with a nut cutlet, sauerkraut, lettuce and ketchup on. Man, I've eaten a lot today.
sauerkraut is morally wrong.
I had roast potatoes, yorkshire puddings, peas and gravy for dinner.

Don't knock the old sausages & syrup until you've tried it! I'm a maple syrup addict and I'm so glad I discovered the sausage & syrup combo! Mmmmm!

This is like my favourite thread and I haven't posted anything because I litterally haven't been eating and what I have eaten is so small that it wasn't worth writing. I dunno what is wrong with me cuz I love food soooo much and should be really really really fat! Anyway on the whole sausage and syrup debate...I'm English through and through and I love it. Sausage, bacon and pancakes with lots of syrup (The old omnis sometimes have egg with that as well and call it the AMERICAN BREAKFAST!) I can understand why you might be put off but I normally love things that sound gross cuz they are so yummy. The flat sausages are like burgers.....I just eat mine with normal sausages (all of the above vegan ofcourse hehe)
BREAKFAST:
Two slices of wholemeal toast with five bean pate on them and then some grilled tomatos and chopped fried mushrooms on top.
LUNCH/DINNER:
Enchiladas - wholemeal tortillas, garlic, spinach, mushrooms, two red peppers, sweetcorn, two red and two white onions in a tomato, garlic and plain yoghurt(to make it creamy) sauce topped with some toffuti mozzarella stuff with a massive side salad of fresh toms, lettuce and spring onions.
SNACK:
A few chips from my friends packet which was VERY naughty because I am so allergic to fish it's not even funny...was blind drunk though but still he should have known no to give them to me!

lol yeah I know, I can't remember what it is at the moment because, obviously anything like that hasn't interested me since before vegan days. lol
Then they have it with scones and jam. Cream tea. Oh man I wanna throw up that sounds so disgusting on that site...ew, the stuff I used to eat. I used to go to Cornwall and Devon all the time. lolClotted cream is a thick yellow cream made by heating unpasteurized cow's milk and then leaving it in shallow pans for several hours. During this time, the cream content rises to the surface and forms 'clots'. Clotted cream purists prefer the milk to come from cows in the West Country, mainly from Devon and Cornwall

I dunno what it was made out of.
It didn't taste too bad...I can't remember what non-vegan clotted cream tasted like so can't compare.
