    morning snacks: a banana, a pear, some butternut squash soup with a whole wheat bun, a couple of small nacho chips, and a few pieces of a Denman Island almond chocolate bar.

    lunch: plain bun at school.

    snack: handful of banana chips

    supper: one potato mashed with margarine and soymilk, a handful of steamed baby carrots, and a whole wheat bun with margarine, all smothered in mushroom gravy. Kind of a mini easter feast!

    B: Two thick slices wholemeal seeded toast, one with peanut butter and jam and the other with yeast extract and tahini.

    2nd B: Bowl of soya & linseed cereal with soya milk and raisins. Green tea.

    L: Mixed berry Trek bar, 2 bananas, 2 apples and a satsuma. Green tea.

    D: Stir fried mushrooms, yellow pepper, courgette, carrots and smoked tofu with garlic, ginger and soy sauce, served with spinach noodles.

    1 red apple

    chickpea flour omelette, with fried potatoes and parsley
    salad (lettuce, rocket, tomatoes, onion, dressed with e.v. olive oil, lemon juice and salt)
    1 orange
    1 cookie (made by my flatmate's mom, and, surprisingly, vegan. it contains flour, sugar, raisins, oil, vinsanto and pine nuts and is unbelievably tasty!! )

    1 pear
    1 apple
    nutmeg-flavoured chocolate

    stirfried escarole with garlic
    roasted zucchini with vinegar and garlic dressing
    salted tomatoes
    all of that with yorkshire puds (i was going to make some gravy and peas, but my flatmates occupied the whole kitchen, all the plates and the oven, so it just wasn't possible )

    1 kiwi

    and lots of chocolate-covered hazelnuts throughout the day

    Thanks Gorilla, I do feel better...just tired. Guess I am well enough to go back to work tomorrow. The thought of that is enough to make me sick all over again

    L - Instant noodles
    Snack - A apple/cinnamon bar from Infinity foods, ooh and an alpro chocolate shake in a carton.
    D - Melon slices :/ My parents wanted to go to a carvery and that was literally all I could eat :/
    I was going to have some vegetables but apparently they had some sort of glaze on them, which neither 'Sarah' our waitress or the 'chef' seemed to know what it was... :s most strange.
    Supper - I just made some pasta as I was STARVING, a day of walking round the Brighton lanes made me oooober hungry!

    BREAKFAST - 2 slices of Eiskel bread with almond butter. 2 cups of coffee with Silk creamer.

    LUNCH - A bowl of pinto beans, white rice, grilled veggies, salsa, chips and salad (from La Salsa).

    SNACK - 1 sugar coated graham cracker. 1 apple. 5 brazil nuts.

    DINNER - Veggie burger (sausage patties from Amy's on whole grain toast) with onion, tomato, red pepper, mustard, and vegenaise.

    DRINKS - Orange juice. Water.

    Lunch: 16 oz of fresh squeezed orange juice, 1 plain bun

    Supper: bowl of CC's brown rice/kale stir fry and 6 vegetable gyozas

    Dessert: homemade apple crumble, oooh it was SO good I nearly ate the whole thing!

    So far today i've had:

    B: Strawberry oat cereal

    L: Marks and Sparks slow roasted tomato and red pepper orzo pasta bowl (very nice!) and a few chips stolen off my mates plate hehe.

    For dinner i shall be having either soup and bread or pasta and veggies. Although i don't know if said mate wants to go out for a meal, so maybe indian! Really not doing the healthy thing today...

    1 organic kiwi
    1 organic granny smith apple
    1/2 tablespoon peanut butter

    small bowl of organic whole grain cereal and organic ground flax seed with Silk plain yogurt, dried cranberries, and cinnamon

    3 small chocolate wafers

    organic spicy eggplant stew (eggplants, tomatoes, turmenic, red and black pepper, salt, basil, olive oil, and fresh squeezed lemon juice)...actually it was more "sour eggplant stew" because the amount of lemon that the recipe called for was way too much and it was incredibly sour!

    organic salad (baby spinach, 2 tomatoes, scallion, radish, olive oil, salt, nutritional yeast, ground flax seeds)
    really yummy bread with Earth Balance

    lunch: bowl of shredded wheat with soymilk and raw sugar

    lunch/snack: bowl of sliced cucumber and baby carrots with CC's raw goddess dressing for dipping

    snacks at school while studying: more rice milk chocolate bar, pumpkin seeds, and banana chips, some strawberry soy yoghurt, a pear, and I have some vegetable gyozas to microwave for my supper.

    today:

    lunch:
    -bowl of organic herb salad w/ chopped tomato, chickpeas and italian dressing
    dinner:
    -stirfry (tofu, chickpeas, peas, green beans, carrots, onion on brown rice)
    -bowl of organic herb salad w/ strawberry tomatoes and mandarin sesame dressing
    -organic strawberry and peach smoothie

    ETA:

    -popcorn w/ nut. yeast, hot sauce and salsa
    -homemade fruit crumble

    Two can play the bullet game

    Today:

    • 1 cup of Blue Lagoon tea.
    • 1 bowl of cornflakes with strawberries and vanilla soy milk.


    • 1 cup of coffee with Silk creamer.
    • A couple of pieces of chocolate.


    • Wholewheat breadroll with earthbalance, corn relish and Yves veggie bologna slices.
    • 1 organic banana.
    • A couple more pieces of chocolate.


    • Portobello Mushroom Burger - wholewheat roll, organic portobello basted with soy sauce and fried, tomato slices, vegan cheese slice, ketchup.
    • Side salad of organic romaine, organic strawberries, avocado and raspberry & walnut dressing.
    • A few baked potato chips with hummus.


    • 1 cup of chocolate spice tea.
    • 1 Belsoy chocolate pudding cup.
    • 2 sandwich cream cookies.

    Yesterday i had:

    B: two slices of toast, one with marmalade and one without and a mixed berry smoothie.

    S: Fruit bar

    L: wholemeal pitta with hummous, scheese, carrot, cucumber, red pepper, sweetcorn and mushroom.

    D: Wholemeal pasta with tomato sauce and stir fried veggies (carrot, courgette, pepper, sweetcorn, onion and mushroom)

    S: Swedish glace with a banana and a clementine.

    It's called Vegi Dressing, made by Nasoya. http://www.veganessentials.com/catal...i-dressing.htm

    The store I shop at stocks it, along with a couple other kinds like creamy dill. Although, I remember making thousand island once (recipe from La Dolce Vegan?) from ketchup, vegennaise, relish & spices, and that was pretty good too.
