Hi everyone
Thanks for letting me join your little plant-based knook here. I've been vegan since last October but I still haven't got fully used to it yet. I'm still making mistakes all over the place. I decided to make the switch after I learnt the truth about factory farming and how eating meat contributes to terrible starvation in third world countries. I also care deeply about the environment so that's another reason too.

congrats on going vegan. we have long-term vegans and newbies here so i'm sure you'll get loads of good advice and help.
dont beat yourself up too much about making mistakes, the most important thing is to learn from them and move on - im not sure any of us here can say we've never tripped up unknowingly or even knowingly!

I agree with cedar-we've all made mistakes and probably will always make mistakes. There is no such thing as a perfect vegan. Just keep learning and doing your best.
