    Default Dolomite powder

Was wondering if anyone knew anything about this product. It has a very high calcium content - is it absorbable? It is safe?

Dolomite is a common inorganic rock-forming mineral similar to limestone. It is composed of calcium and magnesium carbonate, and would be a good source of calcium and magnesium if it were bioavailable, but many nutritionists feel that the minerals are not easily absorbed and that it is a poor source of calcium and magnesium for people.
