    Default Homestay in Jena, Germany

I just realized that I might find myself in quite a predicament in a couple of weeks. Our last weekend here we are going to Jena, Germany and participating in homestays, staying with German families. There are at least a couple meals that I know of that we will be eating with our host families. Most of the food in Germany and Austria are centered around meat and sausage, how do I avoid animal products without being rude and offending them? I really don't want to offend them or their culture.

    Hi wishin!

I'd suggest to ask this question in a
    German vegan forum. It's
okay to write in English there. To start a new thead just click "neues
Thema" ;-) My English is not so good that I could explain my ideas, but I think, other people in this forum will be able to.
