Well the first time was actually yesterday but I had some today as well.
I baked vegan brownies using Ghirardeli Double Chocolate Brownie Mix and applesauce as an egg substitute. I lined by baking pan with Earth Balance buttery spread and that's the first time I had that too.
I also tried this pesto pasta recipe for the first time that I found on a vegan website. I almost died it was so good!
And tomorrow I am planning on having for breakfast a bagel with Tofutti better than cream cheese
I eat dosas today. Since i'm not a really big fan of curry, I just filled them with homemade hummus. It was very good, actually.
Daikon
After celebrated Lantern Festival last night, I ate small dumpling balls made of glutinous rice flour. We call these balls Yuanxiao or Tangyuan.

Jerusalem artichokes. I didn't like the taste and they made my stomach hurt.
a lot of people can't digest them well. I've grown used to call then 'farty spuds' by now. I like them added to mashed potatoes, as in 25% chokes instead of potatoes should be ok for anybody like that.
Thx, but I don't think I'll eat it again soon
Rutabaga
Tacos. Yum!
Vegan quiche
Mangosteen
Not bad but really not worth the £1 Tesco's are charging
Karela - The most bitter thing I have ever tasted, revolting.
i ate some thai vegan spring rolls, not sure of the make its prepackaged from the health food store.
yesterday i had almond encrusted tempeh.
Each snowflake in an avalanche pleads not guilty.
Yesterday I had SO Delicious vanilla ice cream. It was okay. My housemate and her boyfriend liked it, fortunately. I was wishing they had gotten chocolate because it wasn't doing it for me... like SO Delicious yoghurt much better.

I had durian a couple of days ago...
Weird! but very tasty... best way to describe is a mix between an avocado and a mango... with a slight hint of onion at the end!
Each snowflake in an avalanche pleads not guilty.
I really want to try Durian too, where did you get it Manzana?
Durian does sound weird. People say it has a terrible pong, and yet it tastes nice - how can that be?
We had vegan currywurst at the weekend, when we were visiting Munich. It was very interesting - not sure I'd want to make a habit of it though!
It absolutely stank from the outside!!! haha but once opened, it smelled fine! I have no idea how!
Some couch surfers got it for me from China town market in London (I think)...
Ruby, maybe there is a trick.... I just went for the cut it open and see what's inside approach! it has some protective flesh and then some yellow flesh that feels a bit like avocado... that's the bit you eat. It also has some incredible and very big seeds in the avocado looking flesh. I liked it although i have to admit it was very strange!
I love Durian everything! You gotta try Durian ice cream
I created and ate a Mediterranean pie
Our local health food store has moved to a new, larger location. It's gorgeous inside! I stocked up a bit.
I used the Veganaise (never tried it before) to make a sort of Waldorf salad with an apple, chopped crystalized ginger and pecans, and romaine lettuce. Very good!
I had oatmeal with raisins and cinnamon this morning. Planing on making some almond milk tomorrow morning and see how that turns out
Tried Tiger Tiger Garlic Mayonnaise the other day, it tastes like mayonnaise with some garlic in it.
Also tried some stuff from Vx in London today, Ice cream cones, profiteroles, mango smoothie.
Rhubarb. I fell in love instantly.
I tried it raw first, and it was sour, it tasted like sorrel, which I like, but I wanted something sweet. I stewed it and added a bit of artificial sweetener (I guess any sweetener would do). I ate it with homemade vanilla soy yoghurt.
I made a chocolate soy yoghurt (from chocolate soymilk). I'll eat it tomorrow. I have no idea what to expect.
Pasta pizza? Cool!
Lol, I'm not sure what else to put on top of the pizza I don't want just vegetables and tomato sauce The yoghurt sounds awesome I had a glass of chocolate almond milk this morning from what I made yesterday. Think I might add a banana next time to make it a bit thicker. It's like chocolate water
Pasta pizza sounds very carby.
Thank you If you've got any ideas, I'm open to suggestions Just not looking for vegan cheese, or vegan pepperoni I was craving a pizza pretty bad at work today. Hopefully that goes away after a few months... I usually just fill up on fruits or pasta until I'm full, then I don't want to think about eating anymore
Chilli? Banana, baked beans.
Have you tried putting vegan pesto on top of a pizza? I love that.
I usually have grilled artichokes, red onion, pineapple, sweetcorn and olives on top of a pizza. I don't even miss the cheese anymore and I used to love cheese when I was vegetarian.
Not today but I had some honey mangos for the first time recently.
What about tofu (braised/mock duck, marinated or plain) on your pizza? I like spinach and pine nuts along with other vegetables like mushrooms, onions and olives on mine.

Yesterday I ate hemp seeds for the first time. They are tasty.
ooh i had one of those frozen tofutti cheezecakes today (mango and passion fruit) - bloomin lovely!
Hmmm, some pretty good ideas Now to learn how to make dough... Think I'm gonna try making some vegan brownies this weekend. Hopefully they turn out. Maybe open some family members minds to not needing meat or dairy in everything...
Sainsburys vegetarian spaghetti bolognese
Really enjoyed it and I don't even like spaghetti usually.
I had a bagel with margarine, some more oatmeal, and a pudding cup for dessert Yes, I have dessert after breakfast on the weekends
