    Default Heinz, Meat-free Bolognese

I saw this in a market in Majorca today, I have never seen it in the UK. A tinned bolognese made with soya and wheat. Anyone ever had it / seen it over there?

Yep, seen it, had it a few years ago when i was vegetarian - had a look at it last time I saw it in a supermarket and I don't think it's Vegan - certainly the meat free ravioli isn't - something stupid like egg albumen or other such unnecessary stuff in it
Blackadder: Baldrick, have you no idea what irony is?
Baldrick: Yes, it's like goldy and bronzy only it's made out of iron.

Sainsburys do a meatfree spag. bol. in a tin. The tin itself is not labelled as vegan, but the product is mentioned in Sainsbury's vegan list.

I can't remember how much it costs, but I think it was about 55-60p a can. Taste-wise, it's OK but not exceptional. If you imagine what it would be like if you just added some veggie mince to standard tinned spaghetti, then you'll be in the ballpark.

    Cheers,
