Default Gloria Jeans and Starbucks Info

Download the pdf file of Gloria Jeans nutritional labels I was sent here:

    http://www.megaupload.com/?d=22FKSJ6F

    Letter from Starbucks:

    Dear valued customer,

Thank you for your email. There are a variety of Starbucks beverages
    that
you can consider. The Mocha powder used in our chocolate beverages is
    dairy
free. And we offer VitaSoy milk in our stores as an alternative to
    cows
milk. Chai syrup used in the Chai Lattes is also dairy free when
    mixing
with Soy milk. And you can enjoy the Mango Citrus Frappuccino.

As far as food items go, you can try the dairy free health bar that we
    are
    currently offering in store.

You can also visit the US website for nutritional information at
www.starbucks.com and please feel welcome to ask a barista in store
    about
    any of our beverages.

By substituting VitaSoy milk for cows milk in these beverages mentioned
above, they are considered 'dairy free' but of course as the soy milk
    is
produced by a third party we can not guarantee that the soy hasn't come
    in
contact with a milk product before being packaged. And so if your
intolerance is very severe, it may be wise to stick with the Mango
    Citrus
    Frappuccino.

I was at a Starbucks here in the U.S. once. The one I was at served Silk soymilk. I thought it as weird that they did not offer any dairy free dessert. Not just for vegans, but for people who may be allergic to dairy and eggs.

I heard that during the 9/11 disaster Starbucks were actually charging people for water even when it was explained to them that this water was to be used for the medical treatement of casualties

Starbucks irritates me now..infact all coffee chains do. It's the mass popular and corporate thing.

Mango Citrus Frappacino - Mmmmmmm. We don't have that one here in Canada

We do have Vegan friendly chocolate brownies are Starbucks in Vancouver

I tried Gloria Jeans when I was in Sydney this year. Just another expensive coffee shop. It seems these days if you've tried one coffee place, you've tried them all.
