This is a brilliant sanctuary. I got a pup here once.
My turn of mind is so given to taking things in the absurd point of view that it breaks out in spite of me every now and then.

News of a local sanctuary for horses and ponies in Leeds.

    http://www.hopepastures.org/

They have a barn sale usually on the last Sunday of each month, and i popped along today. One of the people that help run the place is vegan and there is sometimes vegan cake about, but not today *feels sorry for himself* but i picked up a few videos there. I also must get hold of some carrots from work to take along with me next time.

    As an aside

On the way back i discovered a little independent beer shop in Headingley (opposite Bryans fish and chip shop) at the end of Moor lane, they sell organic and vegan beer. Plus one of their regulars is vegan and has started labelling which beers are vegan and writing why it is that some beers are vegan and others not. Very good, i picked up a Sam Smiths organic lager and a bottle of organic Kelpie beer.
